Manages the Memorial Garden and personalized brick orders—preserving memories and honoring our community's story.
Glen and I chose Highland Glens for the spirit of cooperation and the beauty of a small, independent community where neighbors become family.
Bought land in 1998 and spent four years preparing and planning before building. We finally moved our 2 children into our paradise in 2003.
Empty nesters - we now share the house with our back lab, Lindy, and cat, Amber - who have just as many opinions as our kids did!

Thrilled to see new neighbors bring fresh ideas that honor the Glens' spirit while moving us forward because the best communities balance tradition with innovation.

My heart and soul are poured into everything I have been involved with in the Glens:
Since 2024, I have learned to understand the glamorous world of sewage systems as Co-Project Manager for the Wastewater Plant Rehabilitation Project and by coordinating daily operations with our Water and Sewer Operator and provided support to Heather with operating costs and budgets.
Assist with creation of communication materials to our neighbors (2019 - present)
Oversight of lake chemicals supply (2020 – present)
If I could still fit it all in, I would.....
Welcome Committee (2019 – 2024)
HG Facebook Page Admin (2019 – 2024)
Grievance Committee (2019 – 2020)
Wife to Bill and mom to 3 adult children with 2 toddler Irish twin grandbabies (double the chaos, double the joy).
I love DIY projects, photography, music, and the fine art of pouring cocktails and sharing laughs with great people - stop by and visit me and Bill - you'll almost always find us outside in the yard!
Passionate about ensuring Highland Glens thrives for the next 60 years—because some places are worth fighting for, one wastewater plant rehabilitation at a time!

Highland Glens resident since January 2003 - I have watched this community grow and evolve for over two decades.
Cowlesville volunteer firefighter who brings that same "service first" mentality to the Glens.
Passionate about maintaining and improving the landscape in the Glens.
Raised two boys here with my wife Pamela, immersing them in our community through fishing, camping, swimming, boating, and good old-fashioned work.
Taught them the importance and value of volunteerism and working with neighbors - because that's what community really means.
Even though the boys are grown, I still teach and lead by example because that's what you do when you care about a place.
Often found with my four-legged friend Bruce or out on the water - please say hello!

Road Maintenance, Friends of the Glens
I fell in love with Highland Glens in the early eighties as a kid, visiting a friend who lived on N Shore
I spent childhood creating memories here—fishing, hiking, and camping on the islands
When it came time to buy a home and raise a family with my wife Kim, it had to be Highland Glens
Built our home at 45 South Shore Drive in 1994
Raised two children here: Michael (1996) and Laura (1998). They have both moved out but remain local and visit often
Thrilled that my daughter Laura asked to host her wedding here this past September (2025). It was a beautiful day and a most memorable event, made even more special by the help and support of neighbors past and present
Highland Glens isn't just a place to live—it's where life's biggest moments happen with neighbors who show up for each other every day
After 30+ years, we still know we made the right choice choosing Highland Glens

Road Maintenance, Neighbor Helping Neighbor
Retired from Cheektowaga Police Department in September 2023 and immediately moved to Highland Glens with my wife Amy, sons Carson (14), Rylan (12), and bulldog Gus. Our older kids Chloe and Alec love to visit the Glens regularly!
My wife Amy and I opened Revitalize You Weight Loss Center in October 2024—helping people feel their best while living our best life
I really believe the best thing about the Glens is having all this nature right outside our door for hunting, fishing, kayaking, and 4-wheeling the trails with the kids.
I am the community chainsaw guy - if a tree falls in your yard, roadway, trail, or driveway and you need help, give me a call and I will be there to help!
If anyone needs helping hands around their property, our boys love small jobs for extra cash, and we encourage them to work in the community and help out their neighbors. Just stop by or call!

Fell in love with the Glens after years of visiting the Lamparts - turns out repeated exposure to paradise is highly contagious.
Excited to transition from "lucky visitor" to "proud resident" and can't wait to be part of this community's next chapter.
Married to my best friend Tom (yes, it's corny, and yes, it's true), mom to two amazing daughters: Samantha (and son-in-law Aidan) and Jessica.
I believe the best communities are built one shared meal, one laugh, and one welcome at a time - we have an open-door policy and are happiest with a houseful of family and friends, the more the merrier!
WATER / SEWER COMMISSIONER
Brandon Seliger
716-863-4532
seligerandson@gmail.com
Highland Glens is in excellent hands with Brandon Seliger at the helm of our water and sewer systems. As owner of Seliger and Son Plumbing and Heating LLC in Batavia, Brandon brings over 20 years of comprehensive experience in the plumbing and heating/cooling industry to our community.
Brandon holds both Water Treatment and Wastewater Certification licenses, the specialized credentials required to operate our treatment facilities. He gained valuable hands-on experience working in a similar role at Darien Lake Theme Park and shadowed our previous commissioner for a year to ensure a seamless transition for the Glens.
When he's not keeping our water crystal clear and our systems running smoothly, Brandon is a proud father of six children. His commitment to Highland Glens extends beyond his professional role—he's also available to residents for plumbing, heating, and air conditioning services.
You can rest easy knowing our water and sewer systems are managed by someone who combines extensive technical expertise with a genuine dedication to our community.

Keeping Our Community Beautiful Through Volunteer Work Parties
Friends of the Glen organizes regularly scheduled monthly work parties for Spring Clean-Up, summer maintenance, and fall clean-up to keep our community beautiful and well-maintained. Scheduled dates will be posted here in advance, and robo-calls will go out to all residents so everyone can participate. Special work dates will also be scheduled for maintaining our back trails throughout the year.
Don't Wait for a Work Party! If you see a need while walking around the Glens—whether it's picking up fallen branches, clearing a drainage ditch, or trimming overgrown brush—please feel free to take care of it. It is everyone's responsibility to keep the Glens beautiful, the landscape manicured, and the roads functional.
Have a Project in Mind? If there's a project you'd like to tackle or want the community to join in on, please contact Lew [contact information] and we'll get it added to the Friends of the Glens "to do" list. Whether it's a big undertaking or a small improvement, we want to hear about it!
